Wow Matthew, this is great. I saw a picture of a large ship's propeller the other day, and the 'scaling' texture of the propeller surface looks a little like natural flow patterns. The Theosophist (theological philosophers) call the propellor shape 'sacred geometry'. Rumor has it these flow pattern textures give 'anti-gravity' lift in the examples of seagulls and fish (Salmon!)
